A radiation shield is only as good as its joints. Straight-edged lead blocks leave hairline seams where the beam can leak, and builders are forced to fill them with lead wool or caulk to recover the lost protection. These interlocking lead shielding bricks solve the problem at the source: each brick is cast with a dovetail or herringbone edge so that it grips its neighbours and staggers the joints, breaking the straight path that radiation follows. The result is a modular shielding wall that can be dry-stacked by two workers without mortar, checked course by course, and dismantled and re-laid elsewhere when the room layout changes. For contractors working in operating hospitals and industrial sites, that speed and re-usability translate directly into lower project cost.

Interlocking bricks are ideal wherever a shielding wall has to be built, altered and taken down again. Typical uses include modular radiography bays, temporary shielding around a worksite or a mobile CT unit, research laboratory partitions that change with each experiment, and hospital departments where new equipment is introduced in phases. Because the wall is demountable, a tenant can recover the lead when a lease ends, and a contractor can protect a new location by re-using bricks from a previous project instead of buying fresh material.
Repetitive handling is hard on soft lead, so we cast the interlocking edges with a generous chamfer and, where the wall will be moved often, we can supply a lead-antimony alloy that resists denting and edge damage. Bricks from an old installation can be inspected and re-used, and we can quote replacement bricks in matching sizes to extend an existing wall. This makes the modular system a practical long term asset rather than a one-off purchase, and it keeps the amount of lead sent for recycling to a minimum.
Each order is packed in wooden cases or strapped bundles with the interlocking edges protected against knocks in transit, and packs are labelled with size, quantity and profile type so that site staff can identify courses quickly. Production follows our ISO 9001 quality management system and CE conformity is checked before dispatch. OEM and ODM orders are available for private label, special profiles or bespoke sizes; share your wall drawing and we will confirm the brick profile and delivery date.
